The yurt comfortably accommodates up to six people (which is also the maximum number of guests allowed by the special use permit). There are bunk beds with mattresses and pillows—please bring your own sleeping bag and pillowcase

It has a wood stove for heat, and a propane cookstove and propane lights. The kitchen is well stocked with cups, dishes, silverware, cookpots, coffee percolator, etc.. All dish washing materials (pans, soap, sponges, bleach, etc.) are provided, as well as a sink with bucket for catching and disposing of rinse water.

The bookshelves are stocked with an assortment of books, magazines, maps, board games, and assorted notes and drawing from past guests.

The yurt is insulated, so it stays nearly as warm as a cabin. All water comes from melting snow. Finally, there is a nearby outhouse with a lovely view across the valley.

Please, no dogs (they don't mix well with drinking melted snow).
